FESTKA SPECTRE & SPECTRE DISC

This is a frame was created by racers based on years of experience as an ultimate tool for racing, with its every detail made to serve a particular purpose – to help the rider enjoy his top-of-the-podium glory moment in every race.
General characteristics
Quintessential racing machine.
Material characteristics, construction and geometry, as well as a choice of components – all of this is a result of deliberate consideration and deep understanding of the cycle sport. The modest veneer of this frame makes one hardly suspect what power and agility is harnessed in it. With its 900g weight it loses none of its power-preserving stiffness and delivers ultimate responsiveness you’ll need to handle sharp cornering and swift assaults on your rivals.
Wide means more rigid
Rigidity of a tube is proportional to the cube of its diameter. With this in mind, we constructed the frame where rigidity and performance is the primary focus. The main tubes of the front triangle flare out towards the bottom bracket shell, and so do the chainstays in the rear triangle. This gives the frame additional robustness, increases steering stiffness and helps to maintain pedaling efficiency. Quick acceleration will help you gain the upper hand in the race from the very start.

Tapered downtube and chainstays ensure additional stiffness
Extremely durable connections
This frame is designed to endure real impact and will not let you down in extreme racing conditions. The flaring down tube and the chainstays almost hide the shell of the BB and allow to connect two main frame triangles in the most critical point by one ongoing piece of carbon filament. This results in extreme durability of strategic tube connections.

Durable connections of the tubes ensure safety and rigidness
The mastery of manufacture in every line and shape
Curved chainstays is the pinnacle of mastery of our carbon specialists. Adapting the shape of the tubes to the construction of the bicycle, flattened tubes flaring out at one end and curved to provide sufficient tire and gear clearance. The same number of filaments is kept throughout the whole tube length maintaining its integrity and durability.

Chainstays: curved, flattened and tapered towards BB
No excesses. All made for a purpose.
This model is thoroughly well balanced, with all excesses sacrificed in favor of enhanced performance and weight reduction. No need for extravagance: carbon dropouts and aluminium rear derailleur hanger serve their purpose well enough provided they are handled with pro care. Sufficient and stiff Columbus fork perfectly complements the restrained character of the frame.
Ready for powerful engines
The frame is ready to accept performance oriented components, all of which will only intensify its performance potential. Prepared for mounting of Mechanical gear, EPS, Di2 or eTap.
